Fatwa for Annual Muslims Stampede (Hajj)

Annual Islamic Stampede Competition (Hajj) is just day away now. And as usual there are bazillions of fatwa's about it coming from the concerned fatwa mills in regards to what is permissible and what is not. However, no one seems to issue a fatwa on the most important all time activity of this even which is the stampede of a few tens to hundreds each year as people compete to stone the devil with the best of their anger and high hormones.

Therefore, Sheikh Bozo has taken this important duty for the wellness of Islamic Ummah and right guidance. Amen..

The fatwa about the stampede competition is derived from the football fatwa published in ArabNews in August 2005.

Fatwa as follows:

1. One may take part in Hajj for the sole purpose of seeking forgiveness from Allah and preparing his physical self for the great jihad.
2. It is permissible to break laws and visa regulations by overstaying as long as the stay is intended within the guidelines of seeking greater exposure to Allah mercy and preparation for jihad. Visas, Passports and immigrations controls are the creation of kuffars (infidels) therefore Muslims should not feel obliged to them in matters of religion.
3. When moving with crowd, one may not resemble the infidels by showing signs of manners, organization , humbleness and rule abiding. The sole purpose is to gather as much forgiveness and rewards from Allah in the shortest time possible therefore one must hurry up to the top of his capability without caring for anything else. Organization and queings are the most dangerous time-wasting teachings of kuffar.
4. When the stampede finally occurs, one may not resemble the kuffars by showing signs of mercy and compassion towards the victims, weak and disabled. The purpose of Hajj is to prepare oneself for great jihad and stampede is the Allah's way to eliminate the weak, incapable and false.
   
5. No funeral and mourning should be held for the dead of stampede. They should be buried silently in a mass grave with the following understanding. "If shit happens, it happens with the will of Allah".
6. One may not give suggestions for reducing the stampede death toll or avoiding stampede. It will be considered interruption in Allah plan and he will reveal a thousand angry revelations through Gabriel.
   

May Allah accept our Stampede sacrifices...amen..

RIYADH, 4 December 2006 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah was honored yesterday at a ceremony for the distribution of Naif Ibn Abdul Aziz Al-Saud International Prize for Sunnah and Contemporary Islamic Studies. The king had won the prestigious award for serving the Sunnah (the sayings and life of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him).
I can't figure out how did he managed to serve the sunnah but as a rule of thumb, being the rule of Saudi Arabia he is entitled to this award by default. Isn't it??? A mere attempt to gain publicity in the Islamic block..

The Supreme Commission of the Prize chose the king as the recipient due to his many efforts to serve Islam and Muslims, such as proposing an emergency meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference last year in Makkah in light of the challenges faced by the Muslim world.
So if you call a meeting you are entitled to award. A good point to be learned from Saudi incompetency. We all know what happens in those OIC meetings. The world's best incompetent leaders gather to have some mandi, kabsa and juice.

Attending the event on behalf of Abdullah was Crown Prince Sultan, deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, who distributed certificates and cash prizes to the winners. Among the other dignitaries who attended were Prince Naif, interior minister and the president of the Supreme Commission of the Prize, Riyadh Gov. Prince Salman, president of the Shoura Council Sheikh Saleh Bin-Humaid, ministers, Grand Mufti Sheikh AbdulAziz Al-Asheikh, the grand mufti of Lebanon and the mufti of Egypt.
So despite being so dignified, he couldn't attend the ceremony. How shameful!! may be he didnt want to face the intrusive media representatives.

Speaking to reporters after the ceremony, Prince Naif said that the members of the seven terrorist cells busted by the government plotted a number of assassinations and terrorist operations in the country. “Security officers are ready to foil any future terrorist operation.”
The interior minister said people behind these terrorist cells “are the enemies of Islam and Muslims even if they have an Islamic mask.” He said that the arrested terrorists had political and economic agendas. “Their aim is to turn Muslim against Muslim,” he said, adding that this would only benefit non-Muslims.
Isn't this a bit out of subject. Or even a wrong mix and match. What sensible reporter in world would question something not even in the same horizon. Or may be someone asked an intrusive question to nasty Naif and he couldn't do better than just steer the reporter off the subject. Totally idiotic to talk about assassination attempts during an award ceremony for religion. It wasn't even releated to law and order. But kudos, they can always find a relation of any event with Islam and muslims. Aren't the so called Islamic terrorist your own product of Immam University???

The minister said the government had no plans to increase the number of its administrative regions, adding that governors were doing their best to serve the country and notified the king of the challenges they faced in their regions.
Governers are doing the best of their incompetency and corruption.

Naif said that the aim of his international prize was to “protect the image of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) from all sorts of mockery,” citing that in the recent past the prophet has been a target of mockery from the enemies of Islam.
And he will be mocked until:
1. Islam is reformed, not by changing the Koran or something but by revising its practices and making it compatible with 21st century. Something revealed in 6th century cannot be used to dictate life in 21st century. Evolution is a part of survival. Those who reject change are burried in history.
2. Closing down Immam University
3. Opening up the magic kingdom to all kind of rights especially human and women.

Said Al-Harthi, adviser to the interior minister and secretary-general of the Supreme Commission of the Prize, announced the winners of this year’s prize. The Prophet’s Sunnah Prize was awarded to Basim Al-Jawabra, a Jordanian national, for his research titled “Infidelity Charges in the Light of the Prophet’s Sunnah.”
For how long we will like to judge morals by the doubtful doctrine of Sunnah. Don't we have enough modren laws. Or medival laws of lashing already implemented in Saudi Arabia??

In the same category, another prize was given to Saudi national Nawal Al-Eid for her research paper titled: “The Rights of Women in the Prophet’s Sunnah.”
After screening by graduates of Immam University and confirming that that abide by the "Saudi Standard".

Mohammad Waqiallah Ahmed, a Sudanese national, won the Contemporary Islamic Studies Prize for his research titled: “Islam in Current Western Curricula — Review and Criticism.”
At the ceremony, Prince Salman said the prize encouraged researchers to serve the Sunnah. “It also encourages the youth to adopt Sunnah in their lifestyle and implant the love of the Prophet in the hearts of Muslim youth.”
Dont they have enough sunnah?? Or they want to raise the bar of polygamy from 4 to 23. Perhaps a clever way or saying all Muslim youth should graduate from Immam University..

Al-Harthi said Crown Prince Sultan’s attendance on behalf of King Abdullah illustrated the keenness of the country’s leadership to support Islamic research on the Qur’an and Sunnah, which is the constitution of the Kingdom.
And for as long it stays the constitution of this country, we should forget anout any Human rights. I advice all bright saudi women flee to west and file for asylum.

He said 306 research papers were submitted. Seventy-nine research works were rejected in the first phase. In the second phase, an additional 112 research works were rejected after they were evaluated by a number of university professors. “The remaining 115 research papers were then scrutinized by the most qualified religious scholars in the Kingdom,” he said.
They simply didn't pass the "quality control" of Immam University graduates or did not confirm to wahabi standards and were therefore rejected.

JEDDAH, 3 December 2006 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah yesterday commended Saudi women for their active participation in the Kingdom’s development.
Yes with 6.1 percent work force they are really contributing a lot..

“Saudi women are playing a great role,” said Abdullah. “They make fruitful contributions toward the country’s comprehensive progress in various sectors,” he added.
That is why we boot them out of seminars and sentence their employers to 90 lashes.

Abdullah made this comment while receiving women participants of the Sixth National Dialogue Forum at his palace in Riyadh separately.
We all know the National Dialogue Forum is just an endless loop of nonsense arguments designed to camouflage the reality. A smoke screen in front of international media design to keep the reformists calm.

“During their meeting with the king, the women voiced their views on the forum’s topic and other issues concerning them. They thanked the king for his efforts to empower women and strengthen their role in society,” the Saudi Press Agency said.
To be able to participate in the forum, you have to proficient in Islam, a figurative way of saying "you must bear a well conservative mind and respect Saudi customs". In other words, a person bearing the slightest taste of human rights will not get admitted into the forums.

Earlier while speaking to both men and women participants, the king urged them to provide the government with necessary advice and guidance. “Those who do not work will not make any mistakes. Those who work will make mistakes, but one should try to avoid such mistakes,” the king said about government officials.
But when those "mistakes" are well intended and in fact supported by the government by discriminative laws then they are acceptable. So what happens when a woman gets rape..she gets 90 lashes.

He praised Saudis for their commitment to the nation, religion and work.
And with the Moral Police and Imam University..it just got better..When is the next plane hijack??

Saleh Al-Hosain, president of the forum, said Islam promotes peaceful coexistence of different communities, allowing others to protect their values and cultural identity. Some 120 verses of the Qur’an condemn bloodletting, all types of wars and subversive activities. “It has allowed only one type of war that is morally justified, stands for justice and considers human values. It is jihad,” he explained.
Yes indeed therefore following the teaching of Islam like good Muslims we are, we prohibit the non-muslims from celebrating their events and conducting their prayer. And punish them when they get caught doing to. Despite the fact that Saudi's need them to sustain their vital economic activity of "oil" and pay them head over heels to work in the Kingdom.

Al-Hosain presented a copy of the forum’s recommendations to the king and Crown Prince Sultan (to be used as toilet paper or to roll shawarma in.)

In her speech, Laila bint Abdul Kareem Al-Juhaiman, associate professor at King Saud University, said the three-day forum in Sakaka was successful in drafting a futuristic vision of education in the Kingdom. She praised Abdullah’s efforts to promote the Kingdom’s educational standard by opening new universities and colleges across the country.
If the education cannot cater to local enonomic and labour demands, then its useless and in next 99 years the education system can be expected to meet these milestones. Meantime "Vive Le Imam Université"

Enough with human rights..now god given rights!!

Seems like Saudi's are now bored with abolishing UN Human rights so they are not stepping over the god given rights too!!..What a perfect Islamic kingdom..A human is born free and two able opposite genders can copulate regardless of their look, ethnicity and origins. But Saudi have decided to super seed god and rule out the rituals or human race and replace them with what they seem to fit.

The Saudi Government belives that Saudi gene pool is "holier than thou" best of all human civilization, therefore it should be polluted by copulating with forigeners. In other words, they feel compelled to stop the spread of genetic stupidity around the world which prevails in Saudi's generation to generation.

Punishing Saudis for Marrying Foreigners Is Absurd

THERE ARE many ways of dealing with problems. Some require laws while others need only awareness, but in Saudi Arabia it seems the easiest way out is to ban the problem from happening. Needless to say, banning never works but it still remains our favorite solution.
Three years ago there was a campaign to dissuade Saudis from marrying non-Saudis. The campaign aimed at enlightening people about the negative aspects of going outside the Kingdom’s borders and choosing a partner. The study deservedly earned the disdain of many at the time. It failed to solve anything that its proponents saw as problems nor did it reduce the number of Saudis who wanted to marry non-Saudis.
Now lets see why Saudi men don't want to marry Saudi Women. The first idea which strikes mind is that a man never gets to meet a woman in Saudi Arabia. In fact meeting a Saudi women would be more of a poetic fancy than reality. Therefore he is very likely to get carried away with his Indonesian maid or the woman he met during his vacation destination. Considering that he doesn't have to wait for the approval of entire bride's family and pay extravagated marriage expenses and dowry, a forigen bride becomes a more economically favorable option.

This week, I was shocked to see an interview with an official in a local paper. He was speaking about this very issue and the interview began with a denial that the numbers of Saudis marrying foreign women/men had reached “alarming” levels. The official stated that the ministry had put in place measures and guidelines to limit the “negative and harmful aspects of such marriages.”
The interviewer then asked what would be done if someone took the step of actually marrying a non-Saudi without taking official permission. Following are the measures:

* Disciplinary action against the Saudi;
* Not allowing the marriage to be registered as legal in the Kingdom;
* Not granting an entrance visa to the foreigner — either wife or husband — and if the wife or husband are already in the Kingdom, then their residency is terminated.
Now I wonder where is the Ministry of Vice and Virtue gone!!!..They should really come on and scare the minister aganist the punishment in hell he will get for crafting such laws. Ohh but wait..the muttawas are too busy chasing unveiled women on the streets!

Heavy measures indeed! One would think that whoever was punished so harshly was a serious and hardened criminal. In truth, he or she is simply someone who tried to live his or her life within his or her rights as a human being. Now I understand and accept that there are procedures to be followed before visas can be issued and residency can be given to non-Saudis, but these things should not encroach upon people’s God-given rights. In several cases, women choose to marry men from abroad and they are entitled to judge for themselves if they are making the right choice.

In our family-oriented society in which a family’s consent for a marriage is necessary, if the man and woman marry with the family’s blessing and approval, that should be enough for everybody. Taking the matters to a higher level than the family concerned and turning the marriage into an international affair that requires official permission is complicating things unnecessarily and I wonder how such can be Islamically justified.
There is an Islamic solution to this problem. Enforce every man to take four wives..How nice..sorry to say but Islam just seem to worsen the problems..

I know of several cases in which women had to wait for years to get permission, even though they had the consent of their families.

To look for a moment at the matter from another perspective, there are many undecided cases in the courts of Saudi women who have filed for divorce from their Saudi husbands. In many of those cases, the women have been abused and sometimes denied access to their children. For whatever reason, many of those cases, involving only Saudis, have not been resolved and it seems that few of those who should are actually trying to find legal ways and solutions.
But it is between the Saudi's so its ok. Incase you have missed it earlier..the Saudi's are holier tha thou and being decendents of the holy prophet..they are all laws spared..pardoned at every deed...

Some Saudi men have also had bad experiences when they married women from outside the country; for sure, marrying a Saudi is not always guaranteed to work wonders or to result in blissful happiness. At the same time, there are cases in which “mixed marriages” (between a Saudi and a non-Saudi) have outlasted many Saudi-only marriages. It seems that this brings us yet again to an idea that has been sadly prevalent in the Kingdom for some time — that we Saudis are special and different. We are not but we like to deceive ourselves.
Isn't the entire Saudi culture is based on deception??? and lets not forget the religion of peace..

I remember a friend who was trying to get permission to marry a non-Saudi. She waited for two years before discovering that the documents were locked in some official’s drawer simply because he thought she should not marry outside her tribe and country. Only by pulling some strings was she finally able to get her papers processed and marry the man of her choice.
Her case has always made me wonder: Why do people need to postpone their lives and decisions for the sake of a man-made law that should not even exist?
If prophet could control destiny of hundred of people and the people of Hejaz agreed with him without an objection...then you shouldn't really complain about the ministry official. He is doing his duty as allocated to him by his government and religion. That is moral and societal guarding.

Sorry you are not getting any of your Human or God Given rights in this country until that Holy book is thrown out of constitution..

Four Saudi Teachers Marry Their Driver

BAHA, 29 November 2005 ­— Four Saudi women teaching in a remote village school have married their driver so they can live closer to work, Al-Watan newspaper said yesterday. The women from Al-Baha were impressed with the man’s “good morals” and decided to marry him and live together in the village where they teach — avoiding a tiring daily commute. They were married in a short ceremony, and have agreed to pay the driver a share of their monthly salaries.

Why No Cinemas?

This question might be asked by many Saudis who remember seeing films in theaters in the Kingdom as recently as the 1970’s. Certainly the question might be asked by those who travel hundreds — or even thousands of miles — to watch films in neighboring countries. Essentially, cinema is no different from watching TV; indeed many films are shown on our satellite TV stations.

Still, watching a film in a theater is somehow more exciting that watching it at home — and this has made companies run after the profits to be made by opening theaters.

Many people still fondly remember the films once shown in the Al-Hamra Movie Theater in Jeddah. Children saved money from their monthly allowances in order to have outings at the cinema. Last Eid after Ramadan, some hotels in Riyadh began showing children’s film. All indications are that the children who saw the films enjoyed the experience. After the films were shown, the Information Ministry said that it had not issued a permit. The truth is that many people wish the ministry would license movie theaters while others, for their own reasons, hope the ministry will not.

There are people who reject the idea totally. The fear of something new has long been a part of our culture — look at our initial reactions to radio and television. In the past, cinemas were closed because a group in society wanted them closed. These days, many want to see cinemas in the Kingdom as a means of entertainment similar to TV and coffee shops. Our Saudi idea of privacy, which is really a form of isolation, is a problem. Just when we seem about to catch up with the rest of the world, we realize we are trapped far behind. Change will surely come — it has in the past — and it will just as surely be resisted by some.

With its accession to the WTO, Saudi Arabia will witness both economic and social changes. I believe that not being in touch with other cultures will isolate us and make us misunderstood strangers. Rejecting the idea of a cinema is no different from other rejections in the past.
In the past, people rejected the idea of satellite dishes. Now we see them on every rooftop. If we had cinema, it would be under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Culture. Just as virtue is protected in wedding halls, educational institutions and in public, so it will be protected in cinemas. I am sure no one would be forced to go into a cinema and neither should one who wants to enter be prevented from doing so.

Many people, Saudis and non-Saudis, want to enjoy themselves and escape from the pressures of their daily lives. Entertainment could provide a way; it would give people pleasure and enable them to see joy in the faces of their children.
