Saudi Corruption.............First Hand

So today afternoon a Labour Ministry walked into our office on random inspection to check legal related paperwork and busted us for hiring three workers with improper paper work. None the less we were threaten to face fines and a probationary period to get their paper work in order. In response, we called our CEO who showed up after a short internet. A quick "meet the CEO" session behind closed doors settled the matter at 500SR.

So moral of the story:

Government penalty for hiring three employees without sponsorship transfer: SR 30,000/- (10K Ea)

Settling matters off the records with inspector: SR 500/-

You decide whats priceless!

A funny thing, the inspectory was religiously pious and puntual with prayer. However stuffing pockets with bribery right after offering Zuhur prayers doesnt count in his book neither do dishonesty at job does!!

Ohh and for those patriotic people dont stir lame theories of some fake offical conning us. He was offical by all manner on an offically endorsed hunt and and thats dead sure.

Labour Minister Stomach Bloats at JEF

Don’t Forget Your Heritage, Al-Gosaibi Urges Saudis

JEDDAH, 27 February 2008 — Labor Minister Ghazi Al-Gosaibi yesterday made an impassioned plea to the private sector to create more opportunities and provide greater incentives for young Saudis.

Speaking on the last day of the highly successful Jeddah Economic Forum, Al-Gosaibi said most young Saudis were talented and hard working. “The image that is projected by the media is wrong,” he said. “It focuses on a few bad examples. That is not the case with the large majority of our youngsters.”

Al-Gosaibi lam basted Saudi businessmen who criticize the Saudi work force. “Those who say that Saudi youth are not dependable, that they are not accountable, that they shun work, that they are not hard working, I ask them: ‘Where are they themselves from — Sweden or Norway? Did they not come from this same country? Is it not true that their fathers, mothers and sisters built this great Kingdom?’ If Saudis are not hard working, who built all these business empires — these big businesses that we see around us today?”
No they are not coming from abroad but they have spent considerable time abroad, may be were raised there too and learned the values of hardworking rather than a generation which lived in limbo leeching oil money from government reserves. And then most of them went around the world on government expenses to propogate wahabbism on behalf of Al-Sauds and fund religious terrorism

Al-Gosaibi specifically mentioned self-made Saudi financier Abdul Aziz Al-Rajhi. “He rose from being an ordinary man in a local market to a big businessman. Is he not a Saudi? Is he not one of us? There are lot Al-Rajhis out there looking for opportunities to grow,” he said. He went on to point out the recent case of a young Saudi who took a loan from Muhammad Jameel of ALJ Co. Ltd. and then parlayed it into a SR450 million contract.

Al-Gosaibi said the success of the economy rested with the private sector’s ability to motivate young Saudis — many who grew up in an era of luxury — to work.
Or an era of limbo where government siphoned free cash, facilities and idiotic religious-only education circular into citizens in fear that a knowledgeable and developed workforce could mount anti-Saudi rebellion in future. Only until shit hits the walls and oil revenues aren't proving enough.

“The private sector should facilitate their integration into the job market,” he said. “The kind of conditions now imposed on them makes things difficult for them at the workplace. In the past, Saudis worked only in the public sector. They would work four hours a day, five days a week, and God only knows if they worked at all. Now, you are asking them to work in the private sector. They are being told to work for 48 hours instead of 35 a week; they have to work not one shift, but two shifts. They are told that if they take leave other than the two-week annual leave, they will be fired... Nobody will accept these conditions.”
Now what you clearly doing here is trying to broker private sector for laxed working conditions for Saudis. While hard work is appreciated there is no point brokering leniency for lazy asses. Lazy people are lazy people at the end of the day and if they cant work for eight hours a day then no business is going to keep them.

The labor minister emphasized there was no magic solution to the current problem. “If the private sector does not provide enough incentives to our youth then we will not succeed,” Al-Gosaibi said. “We have to close the gap between what the public sector provides and what the private sector provides in terms of job security, salaries, number of work hours, etc. If the private sector provides the same kind of incentives as the public sector, will our youth run away? No.”
There is a difference between incentives and catering to the lazy asses. If your understanding of "incentives" means letting Saudis spend 4 hours in office browsing Internet and skipping rest of the four then sorry to say its not acceptable to businesses.

Al-Gosaibi hailed Saudi Aramco and SABIC for their Saudization successes. “They stay there and grow there because they get the kind of incentives that are not available anywhere else,” the labor minister said of the young Saudis working in both companies. “Please don’t be critical of our youth. Don’t mistrust them. They want to lead a decent and honorable life. And when I am talking about youth, I mean both men and women.”
Ofcourse there is qualified Saudi workforce but very few business who can afford to pay in gold biscuits can afford to hire them.

‘Look at the Silver Lining’
Its seems corroded already!

He said he was perplexed by the media and businesses focusing on failures rather than successes. “Why do we choose one or two young people who have neglected their work and focus on them? Only yesterday, we met 300-400 Saudi youngsters at a technical institute,” he said. “They were so passionate about their studies — working day and night. And they are proud of their work. This is the right image of our youth. I can see in the distance that on the horizon there are clouds. But why focus on them? Look at the silver lining. I see a bright future for Saudi youth.”
The media is simply focusing on reality and the fact is that ratio between success and failure is 1:10 so obviously majority dominates.

The minister said Saudis should remember their history as global leaders — and their faith. “First of all, we should believe in God Almighty and then we should have full trust and confidence in ourselves, in our nation, in our youth and in our daughters,” Al-Gosaibi said. “This is the region of the Two Holy Mosques. It is from here that thousands spread out to extend the message of Islam. We are their offspring; we are their children. Never forget our heritage. We are not a marginal civilization coming from the jungles of Amazon. We are a nation that has for more than 800 years led the world in everything — in intellect, in science and in technology. We have been through difficult times. There have been ups and downs but, by the grace of God, we have the capacity; we have the hope and the aspiration to return to our past glory — and we will.”
So what is Saudi history really??? Lets see..slave trading, tribal warfare, religious idiocy, oppression, exploitation of other humans, slavery, robbery, looting, gang rapes and more recently sponsoring religious terrorism. Referring to others as "marginal civilization coming from jungles of Amazon" is true representation of typical "I am better than everyone" mentality found among the Saudis whether be elite or beggar. Now let me educate you Mr.Minister, there is a difference between Islamic civilization dominating the world for 800 years and Saudis as a nation. Islamic civilization has been for 1400 years ago where as Saudis came into being less than 100 years ago so I don't understand this "leading the world for 800 years" neither does anyone capable to do simple maths and Google search. The only "marginal civilization from nomad desserts" on this earth is you the Saudis who are only worth for the oil they can provide.

More Opportunities for Women

Al-Gosaibi said more opportunities are being created for women in the labor market, but successful social reforms will require dialogue and consensus.

“Slowly but surely, we are making progress,” he said. “In the past, the public sector absorbed 90 percent of the women, especially as school teachers and 10 percent as social advisers. When the public sector filled up... that is when the demand for opening the private sector to women came up. We are implementing these women-specific projects in stages, and we are achieving success. The issue of segregation will not change overnight. In fact, if we try to change things forcefully, then that may complicate matters. It is my wish that we work together and work within the system.”
Excuse me but the "Al-Saud & Mutaween" alliance always formulated policies of keep women at home as baby producing machines. The offical rules and regulation of Saudi Arabia strictly bar women from working. So your statement stands to nothing but mindless propaganda.

Al-Gosaibi said there needed to be clear communication between the ministries and the private sector for Saudization to succeed. “The basic duty of ministers is to engage in dialogue with all members of society, but on many occasions this dialogue was between deaf people. We didn’t listen to each other. We, in the ministry, were talking about Saudization, and the other party would say ‘visas, visas.’ We didn’t listen to each other. That was not dialogue. Now when companies talk about Saudization, I tell them to talk about their plans and then we shall listen to their request for visas.”
Well they chant visas because that is what works for them. Saudization is just an added tax with comes with it. The business want to get start fast with the right workforce as well retain the workforce on low wages which through your "Kefala" system is very well augmented. If there was freedom of employment to foreigner, these employers will not be able to lock-down employees hence forced to pay worthy wages as per market rate which will automatically attract the citizens to take up jobs.

Later, when fielding questions from the audience, a hearing-impaired man asked why special needs workers had it so rough, noting that employers were often unwilling to accommodate them, Al-Gosaibi announced from the podium that henceforth, employing one special-needs Saudi worker would count as four workers in Saudization targets. (Earlier, employing one special-needs worker would count as two.)
This is further relaxation in Saudization quota speaks for itself. No explanation needed!

Citing 2007 employment figures, he said, “We brought 1.8 million expatriates into the country. This is the highest number in decades. Since I took over, there has been no increase in Saudization. Actually, we have reduced Saudization in most sectors.”
So despite your efforts you admit your failure as the biggest influx of foreign workers has landed in the country during year 2007 breaking all records. You see common sense states that something is wrong here despite all your pleas. Because Saudis don't wanna work hard and private sector doesn't want to cut working hours to 4 a day. So the situation becomes locked and for the sake of economy, your ministry cant help it further than decreasing saudization quota and issuing more visas.

All Saudi businesses should consider the government’s expectations, he added. “My doors are open to businessmen. Come to me with your plans. I am only asking for 10 percent commission,” Al-Gosaibi said. “You want 500 visas for expatriates then 50 should be Saudis. One thousand visas - 100 Saudis, and that is all.”
Yeah and the government expect a bunch of lazy asses employed over hardworking people is a sales commission like scheme where they leech on company profit as a "privilege" of their nationality not skills.

Women vs. Women

Women vs. Women
Amal Zahid • Al-Watan
Source: ArabNews

Some feminine voices are doing a great job in defaming women’s issues in the country. They have mastered the art of provoking people’s feelings against anyone who writes about the inferior social status of women, or the injustice practiced against them in society.

I’m sick and tired of hearing that Saudi women are in fine shape. These people claim that no one is doing them injustice or underestimating their capabilities.

Everything is just perfect, according to them, and everything that is being said is based on rumors. They believe that the issue of liberating women is just a conspiracy to break male dominance and corrupt women, which will eventually lead to the corruption of entire society.

The truth is that these voices use the West as a reference when comparing, reviewing and evaluating. They support their visions with very bizarre research and publications that highlight the failure of women’s movements in spreading peace and building families. These publications also talk about social diseases that accompanied women’s desires to leave home and work after the Industrial Revolution in Europe. These voices panic when the difference between liberating women in the East and West is being addressed. To them, it all boils down to the fact that Islam has given women all their rights.

Anyone who dares to write about the women’s issues is accused of being westernized and secular regardless of what angles are being tackled. Beware of using words such as “empowerment” or “struggle” when writing about issues of women’s liberation. What is sad is that these voices find people who cheer and applaud what they say. It is time to let women stand against women and fight each other.

Happy Birthday Saudi Arabia

Today, 23-Sep-2007 is the 75th national day of Saudi Arabia. The day Kingdom was established way back in year 1932. Despite all the problem, issues and mismanagement in this country we all live here, so do hundreds of other regardless of race, religion, origin and cast. A country which is second-home to them where many live much better than they would in their home countries. This is truly, a mini united nations where tolerance on all fronts exists between all kind of people. Hundreds of poor's come here to make their fortune and support their families back home. A literal tax-free haven where the rich and poor get their basic needs fulfilled regardless of economic gap. Topped off by some of the best desserts, beaches and natural beauty.

So lets raise the flag high on this day and put aside the differences.

I wish I could top it off with classic "Biladi Biladi" song popularized during gulf war but don't have its sound clip so enjoy the Anthem below.

Unfit Workplaces for Women

Unfit Workplaces for Women
Najah Alosaimi, Arab News
Source: http://arabnews.com/?article=96333

RIYADH, 18 May 2007 — While health and safety at work are the basic requirements that employees demand, many workingwomen in the Kingdom find environments at their workplaces detrimental to their health.

Having separate workplaces for men and women has been the norm in the Kingdom since women first began to work outside their homes in the early 1970s. The Kingdom, particularly in Riyadh, operates a strict system to ensure working women enjoy their privacy and are not subjected to harassment by men.
A general impression made is that men are out there looking for every opportunity to harras women. Pull her hair, tease her and throw their phone number on her. isn't this the mentality infested by government has hurt the country economy and youth right in the nuts as confessed by interior minister. I mean come are these women any different from those in Europe, America and rest of Middle east??? what kind of ubber privacy requirement do these women have. The kind of ultimate secrecy they demand is a notion of plain prostitution.

But, at many women’s banks, educational institutions and salons, windows are often blackened and some workplaces also lack emergency exits. Employers justify these actions by saying they are simply giving women privacy. However, a lack of emergency exits could be something disastrous in case of an emergency.
Well privacy or better say secrecy comes at a cost!!

“Regulations set by the Labor Ministry stipulate that workplaces should be safe and fully equipped with safety features for all employees,” said Muhammad Al-Dwaish, legal consultant with the Labor Ministry, adding that the regulations are for both genders.
But since women demand secrecy, how can you get away without blackened windows and sealed exits??

Dr. Mona Sawaf, a psychiatrist specializing in women’s health, told Arab News that health and safety regulations should not be compromised in the name of women’s privacy. (read "secrecy")

“Women’s privacy can also be achieved in a way that ensures a safe and healthy environment so that they feel comfortable when working. This does not mean that women should be locked in separate rooms,” she said.

She added, “Unfortunately, most workers spend up to a quarter of the day indoors in improper environments with synthetic ventilation systems that negatively affect their health.”

Dr. Abdullah Al-Johar, an orthopedic consultant at the Prince Faisal Sports Medical Hospital, said, “A working environment with no fresh air and sunlight can become a long-term threat to someone’s health. Research shows that there is a direct connection between remaining indoors and developing illnesses relating to the weakness of bones and muscles.”

Al-Johar also feels that women, who remain in closed environments for a long time, need to ensure they take appropriate intakes of vitamins B and D.

Poor working environments also affect the performance of women employees. Raedah Al-Motairy, a financial consultant in the ladies branch of a bank in Riyadh, said, “Poor working environments affect women’s productivity. Working in isolation makes women feel unwanted and makes them feel they are working undercover.”

According to Al-Motairy, having a pleasant and safe working environment is good for business. “A healthy working environment raises employees’ morale. Often when walking through women’s departments, you feel entirely different. Tension also seems to be much higher there.”

Dalal Al-Ogdah, a Health Ministry worker, said, “The current working environment that is designed exclusively for women does not match the high-profile roles of many women. It’s wrong to justify these abusive practices in the name of giving women privacy. This concept has been misused by many people.”
Or lets say the state official religion advised that. There is a popular power point presentation circulating on internet with authentic hadith saying a cursed man is one who touches palm of unrelated women. With such hatred bred into a generation of men against half of country population is not likely to be washed off so easily.

Elogii gli italiani!!

Translation: Praise the Italians.

BBC Story

So after the Spanish, Italian have picked up a similar taste for banning pencil like models. I say thats a positive change. After all these so called models do not contribute much to the society. Their influence clearly translates to..save a few pennies by eating fewer cheese burgers. Perhaps, we should stay tuned for enviromentalist picking up the opputunity to portray the positives like..by eating less one is making less trips to the Mc Donalds and super markets saving gas and hence its global warming side effect. To hell with them.

Right, back to man subject.. Some porn director quoted that big breast is the most popular fetish among men.. so if rules of porn are dictated by fetish prefrences of men, then who are audiences for these models. Ohh its the teenage girls who simply dont get enough male attention. Well you wont get any male attention regardless of your skin to bone ratio unless you put on some nice rack. Because that will determine your probablity in our score cards. Size matters.....Well going skinny is likely to reduce your attention probablity even lower. Better fix that bad attitude and bring in some beer.. may be buy him tickets to a footbal match...may be a huge plasma screen to watch sunday games. Well what ever you do..being skinny is not gonna help..

So why do designers hire these super skinny models??
A number of reason but I can think of a few..
  1. Meals in five stars is really expensive..so a for a skinny model it something like 2-3 meals per week compared to 3x7 = 21 meals per week for a healthy person.
  2. That hand weaved Italian wool with gold and silver strings blah blah blah cost like $10000 per yard. And for one time wearing that is real waste of money..so on skinny models its less cloth to cut, waste and stich.
  3. Then is the transport and petrol factor. 170lbs atleast for a 5'8 healthy model times 3 of them in each limo = 510lbs which is a lot when you shove off 360 lbs by hiring 50lb models only. That translates to a lot of saving in petrol.
  4. The resistance factor.. non-cooperating healty person is likely to fight back aggresively..A pencil can be packed in a suitcase and made to cooperate.

Well Ms. Skinny you are not doing any better than grossing out all men there..and spoling the taste of entire human race..I would like to shoot you for this societical genocide..

Fatwa for Annual Muslims Stampede (Hajj)

Annual Islamic Stampede Competition (Hajj) is just day away now. And as usual there are bazillions of fatwa's about it coming from the concerned fatwa mills in regards to what is permissible and what is not. However, no one seems to issue a fatwa on the most important all time activity of this even which is the stampede of a few tens to hundreds each year as people compete to stone the devil with the best of their anger and high hormones.

Therefore, Sheikh Bozo has taken this important duty for the wellness of Islamic Ummah and right guidance. Amen..

The fatwa about the stampede competition is derived from the football fatwa published in ArabNews in August 2005.

Fatwa as follows:

  1. One may take part in Hajj for the sole purpose of seeking forgiveness from Allah and preparing his physical self for the great jihad.
  2. It is permissible to break laws and visa regulations by overstaying as long as the stay is intended within the guidelines of seeking greater exposure to Allah mercy and preparation for jihad. Visas, Passports and immigrations controls are the creation of kuffars (infidels) therefore Muslims should not feel obliged to them in matters of religion.
  3. When moving with crowd, one may not resemble the infidels by showing signs of manners, organization , humbleness and rule abiding. The sole purpose is to gather as much forgiveness and rewards from Allah in the shortest time possible therefore one must hurry up to the top of his capability without caring for anything else. Organization and queings are the most dangerous time-wasting teachings of kuffar.
  4. When the stampede finally occurs, one may not resemble the kuffars by showing signs of mercy and compassion towards the victims, weak and disabled. The purpose of Hajj is to prepare oneself for great jihad and stampede is the Allah's way to eliminate the weak, incapable and false.
  5. No funeral and mourning should be held for the dead of stampede. They should be buried silently in a mass grave with the following understanding. "If shit happens, it happens with the will of Allah".
  6. One may not give suggestions for reducing the stampede death toll or avoiding stampede. It will be considered interruption in Allah plan and he will reveal a thousand angry revelations through Gabriel.
May Allah accept our Stampede sacrifices...amen..

Its thursday morning...

First, some medieval age tribal brickery of Saudi's.
They have been doing it for thousand of years and will continue to do so in future

My Tribe Can Beat Up Your Tribe

And now seems like even after a year, Yemen hasn't moved on with the danish cartoons of prophet. Ok prophet has got insulted in the past and will continue to do so forever. Infact somewhere in Spain, there is a festival of Muhammed Burning every year celebrating the exit of Islam from Spain. But no one seems to be mad about it infact I have hardly seen any Muslim aware of it execpt of Mr A. from Religious Policeman. Ignorance and lasting enmity are traits Prophet SAW has strictly ordered to abstain from yet these Prophet SAW loving people cannot see through his teachings or bother to adopt them.

Yemen Bans Two Journalists Over Prophet Cartoons

Annual Muslims stampede contest is coming and Sheikh Bozo will be issuing a fatwa on that soon.

What do female sucide bombers get???

For 14 centuries this has been a matter of national importance and embrassment for the "Ummah". Ever since the revelation of 72 virgins females as a matrydom reward to men and advent of explosives by chinese, thousands of sex deprived men have blown themselves all over the world in notrious act. Taking the lead in this competition for past 55 years is offcourse Hammas, who is also credited for longest surviving terror organisation and holding the highest number of copyrights in sucide bombing technologies. Since their first use of females in sucide attacks, debate has got further intensified. And this question which is ringing in the head of intelactuals all over the world is:

What do female sucide bombers get in paraside compared to their male counter parts who are entitled to 72 virgins???

SomeBozo Blog take pride in being the first to bring answer to the worlds mind based on refined research courtesy of Sheikh Bozo.

Fatwa as follows..

Women cannot be entitled to 72 virgin men because sleeping with 72 men would be considered prostitution and against the basic principles of chasity in paradise. Based on the god vision of equity between genders, Allah will reward martrayer women with strong built man bearing 72 penises.

The women shall enjoy the pure semen seeping out from every orifice of these Allah's creatures made to please their chaste mistress in paradise.

And Allah (swt) knoweth the bestest!!

For the viewing pleasure of visitors.
Credits for image discovery goes to Mandy, a long time friend.
========================================
Just a side note, wouldn't it be hell if one has to handle a virgins in paradise and that is 72 of them. Paradise is for enjoyment and anyone with a brain size of a pea should be asking something better. May be God has a sense of humor unexplained to humans and he gets his laughs by rewarding idiots in a quite complex manner.
May jihad be upon you.. ;-)

Saudi Arabia invites forigeners to concentration camps!!

Kudos to SCT for undertaking this brave initiative..Much appreciated!
Now back to the forigen tourism in Saudi Arabia, I can see in which direction this will lead in power struggle with the Muttawa's and religious hard liners being bred at public education institutes for 50 years. Forigen tourism in Saudi Arabia is leading no further than a bunch of forginers admitting themselves voluntarily into Islamic concentration camps. Perhaps the unrecurited sucide bombers will get a job at blowing SAPTCO busses.

Mutawwas Get Training on Tolerance, Communication Skills
By Shahid Ali Khan
Source: The Saudi Gazette

RIYADH MEMBERS of the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice are being given training in religious tolerance, communication skills and how to behave with people of different cultures and faiths.
Isn't that against the basic doctrine of muttawas?? I mean muttawa's were set up to bring moral policing on Muslims and dicipline to "infidels" from their practices. So how will it go now??? Instead of muttawa hitting the uncovered face lady with a stick, they would go and ask politely, "Mam please cover your face, your infidel practices are offending us"

The orientation course by the Supreme Commission for Tourism (SCT) is part of the national tourism promotion campaign under a larger program dubbed as “Ya Hala!” or “Welcome,” said Dr. Abdullah S. Al-Weshail, Director-General of National Human Resource Development Project for Tourism.

Under this pioneering project around 80 high-ranking mutawwas were given a three-day training in Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam, Al-Weshail told The Saudi Gazette in an exclusive interview. Based on the feedback and a proper assessment, SCT is planning to launch a three-year intensive training program for mutawwas and officials of the Ministry of Interior, including police and security personnel, customs and immigration officials. Saudi taxi drivers will also be included in the orientation course to promote tourism.
Ok I can understand and appreciate the involement of customs, law enforcement and social servicemen but what the heck..!! muttawa's again??? Aren't they are rigrious religio-moral police and this kind of training is only going to conflict with basic doctrines of wahabism..What a pity to the officals of this "contradict kingdom". Aren't the muttawa's supposed to trained in religious tolerance when they graduate from Immam University?? Oops the Immam University works on wahabi principles so the only good infidel is a deal infidel whose head has be chopped off my notrious Jihad joe..

The basic aim of this human resource development program is to prepare for the potential influx of non-Muslim tourists once the sector is fully opened for foreign tourists, Al-Weshail said.
Presently, workers in government agencies are being readied to tackle the intra-city tourism and properly interact with tourists visiting from Gulf and Arab countries.
“Proper understanding of different cultures and faiths is very important for tourism promotion in Saudi Arabia,” he said.
Ohh so seems like this understand should only be inflicted when oil revenues aren't enough anymore to feed clans and tribes of bedouins. So they go take a lesson on tolerance and start tourism. Hope Saudi's would have given these tolerance lessons before Immam University graduates went on their jihad spree . Sorry too late now.. Offcourse there won't be any lesson in Jewish culture either.
The SCT’s HR Development program is divided into three major areas such as nationalization of occupation in the tourism sector, awareness program and inviting investment from Saudis and foreign investors in training programs, Al-Weshail said.
Every where, tourism is a multinational industry designed to cater visitor from all over the world according to their nature. But here in a Saudized tourism industry, I can see which directions this will lead to.

“Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector will open around 1.5 million jobs during the next 20 years. It requires a huge investment for opening training institutes, colleges and universities to produce qualified graduates to work in the hospitality industry,” he said.
Well the usual business here. 1.5 million is not at all optimistic provided that in next 20 years, Saudi job seekers in that industry will be something like 4 million. And Saudi universities satisfying labour market needs is a bearucratic dream waiting to be fullfilled in next 99 years.

SCT has been training public and private sector staff involved directly or indirectly in the tourism sector. Around 100 police and security personnel have undergone a training program at King Fahd Security College in Riyadh. “The SCT is planning to train around 40,000 security personnel during the coming years,” Al-Weshail said.

The training program for mutawwas was designed in close cooperation with the SCT, the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice and the Institute of Public Administration (IPA), he said.
What is the point of Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice when "infidels" will be roaming over the "holy land" freely and muttawa's not being able to do anything about it for the basic purpose of that commison was to keep the 'infidels" in check..

Dr. Al-Weshail clarified that the planned training program for mutawwas was not because of some cases, which received negative media coverage.
Ohh comeon, we all know the proficieny of those "muttawas" and their deeds make news on daily basis. I would be surprised and infact call it negative coverage if I get to read an outrageous headline like "Muttawa's distribute Christman presents at expatriate compound".

“It would be totally baseless to link the SCT training program to those incidents,” he said. The members in the Commission are recruited after undergoing a number of training programs “and they are qualified personnel,” he said.
Denials don't change facts. SCT is simply afraid that their multi-million efforts might get wasted in confrontation with aggressive muttawa's. But in the end, kudos to SCT for not only thinking about this initiative but also undertaking it.

Assassination Awards!!

First off.. I dont understand how news about assassination plot can be merged with award ceremony for religious nuts..??
===================================
Assassination Plots Foiled
Raid Qusti & Ali Al-Zahrani,
Source: Arab News

RIYADH, 4 December 2006 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah was honored yesterday at a ceremony for the distribution of Naif Ibn Abdul Aziz Al-Saud International Prize for Sunnah and Contemporary Islamic Studies. The king had won the prestigious award for serving the Sunnah (the sayings and life of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him).
I can't figure out how did he managed to serve the sunnah but as a rule of thumb, being the rule of Saudi Arabia he is entitled to this award by default. Isn't it??? A mere attempt to gain publicity in the Islamic block..

The Supreme Commission of the Prize chose the king as the recipient due to his many efforts to serve Islam and Muslims, such as proposing an emergency meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Conference last year in Makkah in light of the challenges faced by the Muslim world.
So if you call a meeting you are entitled to award. A good point to be learned from Saudi incompetency. We all know what happens in those OIC meetings. The world's best incompetent leaders gather to have some mandi, kabsa and juice.

Attending the event on behalf of Abdullah was Crown Prince Sultan, deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, who distributed certificates and cash prizes to the winners. Among the other dignitaries who attended were Prince Naif, interior minister and the president of the Supreme Commission of the Prize, Riyadh Gov. Prince Salman, president of the Shoura Council Sheikh Saleh Bin-Humaid, ministers, Grand Mufti Sheikh AbdulAziz Al-Asheikh, the grand mufti of Lebanon and the mufti of Egypt.
So despite being so dignified, he couldn't attend the ceremony. How shameful!! may be he didnt want to face the intrusive media representatives.

Speaking to reporters after the ceremony, Prince Naif said that the members of the seven terrorist cells busted by the government plotted a number of assassinations and terrorist operations in the country. “Security officers are ready to foil any future terrorist operation.”
The interior minister said people behind these terrorist cells “are the enemies of Islam and Muslims even if they have an Islamic mask.” He said that the arrested terrorists had political and economic agendas. “Their aim is to turn Muslim against Muslim,” he said, adding that this would only benefit non-Muslims.
Isn't this a bit out of subject. Or even a wrong mix and match. What sensible reporter in world would question something not even in the same horizon. Or may be someone asked an intrusive question to nasty Naif and he couldn't do better than just steer the reporter off the subject. Totally idiotic to talk about assassination attempts during an award ceremony for religion. It wasn't even releated to law and order. But kudos, they can always find a relation of any event with Islam and muslims. Aren't the so called Islamic terrorist your own product of Immam University???

The minister said the government had no plans to increase the number of its administrative regions, adding that governors were doing their best to serve the country and notified the king of the challenges they faced in their regions.
Governers are doing the best of their incompetency and corruption.

Naif said that the aim of his international prize was to “protect the image of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) from all sorts of mockery,” citing that in the recent past the prophet has been a target of mockery from the enemies of Islam.
And he will be mocked until:
1. Islam is reformed, not by changing the Koran or something but by revising its practices and making it compatible with 21st century. Something revealed in 6th century cannot be used to dictate life in 21st century. Evolution is a part of survival. Those who reject change are burried in history.
2. Closing down Immam University
3. Opening up the magic kingdom to all kind of rights especially human and women.

Said Al-Harthi, adviser to the interior minister and secretary-general of the Supreme Commission of the Prize, announced the winners of this year’s prize. The Prophet’s Sunnah Prize was awarded to Basim Al-Jawabra, a Jordanian national, for his research titled “Infidelity Charges in the Light of the Prophet’s Sunnah.”
For how long we will like to judge morals by the doubtful doctrine of Sunnah. Don't we have enough modren laws. Or medival laws of lashing already implemented in Saudi Arabia??

In the same category, another prize was given to Saudi national Nawal Al-Eid for her research paper titled: “The Rights of Women in the Prophet’s Sunnah.”
After screening by graduates of Immam University and confirming that that abide by the "Saudi Standard".

Mohammad Waqiallah Ahmed, a Sudanese national, won the Contemporary Islamic Studies Prize for his research titled: “Islam in Current Western Curricula — Review and Criticism.”
At the ceremony, Prince Salman said the prize encouraged researchers to serve the Sunnah. “It also encourages the youth to adopt Sunnah in their lifestyle and implant the love of the Prophet in the hearts of Muslim youth.”
Dont they have enough sunnah?? Or they want to raise the bar of polygamy from 4 to 23. Perhaps a clever way or saying all Muslim youth should graduate from Immam University..

Al-Harthi said Crown Prince Sultan’s attendance on behalf of King Abdullah illustrated the keenness of the country’s leadership to support Islamic research on the Qur’an and Sunnah, which is the constitution of the Kingdom.
And for as long it stays the constitution of this country, we should forget anout any Human rights. I advice all bright saudi women flee to west and file for asylum.

He said 306 research papers were submitted. Seventy-nine research works were rejected in the first phase. In the second phase, an additional 112 research works were rejected after they were evaluated by a number of university professors. “The remaining 115 research papers were then scrutinized by the most qualified religious scholars in the Kingdom,” he said.
They simply didn't pass the "quality control" of Immam University graduates or did not confirm to wahabi standards and were therefore rejected.

Praise for ghost role of women in society

Abdullah Lauds Women’s Role in Society
Source: Arab News

JEDDAH, 3 December 2006 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah yesterday commended Saudi women for their active participation in the Kingdom’s development.
Yes with 6.1 percent work force they are really contributing a lot..

“Saudi women are playing a great role,” said Abdullah. “They make fruitful contributions toward the country’s comprehensive progress in various sectors,” he added.
That is why we boot them out of seminars and sentence their employers to 90 lashes.

Abdullah made this comment while receiving women participants of the Sixth National Dialogue Forum at his palace in Riyadh separately.
We all know the National Dialogue Forum is just an endless loop of nonsense arguments designed to camouflage the reality. A smoke screen in front of international media design to keep the reformists calm.

“During their meeting with the king, the women voiced their views on the forum’s topic and other issues concerning them. They thanked the king for his efforts to empower women and strengthen their role in society,” the Saudi Press Agency said.
To be able to participate in the forum, you have to proficient in Islam, a figurative way of saying "you must bear a well conservative mind and respect Saudi customs". In other words, a person bearing the slightest taste of human rights will not get admitted into the forums.

Earlier while speaking to both men and women participants, the king urged them to provide the government with necessary advice and guidance. “Those who do not work will not make any mistakes. Those who work will make mistakes, but one should try to avoid such mistakes,” the king said about government officials.
But when those "mistakes" are well intended and in fact supported by the government by discriminative laws then they are acceptable. So what happens when a woman gets rape..she gets 90 lashes.

He praised Saudis for their commitment to the nation, religion and work.
And with the Moral Police and Imam University..it just got better..When is the next plane hijack??

Saleh Al-Hosain, president of the forum, said Islam promotes peaceful coexistence of different communities, allowing others to protect their values and cultural identity. Some 120 verses of the Qur’an condemn bloodletting, all types of wars and subversive activities. “It has allowed only one type of war that is morally justified, stands for justice and considers human values. It is jihad,” he explained.
Yes indeed therefore following the teaching of Islam like good Muslims we are, we prohibit the non-muslims from celebrating their events and conducting their prayer. And punish them when they get caught doing to. Despite the fact that Saudi's need them to sustain their vital economic activity of "oil" and pay them head over heels to work in the Kingdom.

Al-Hosain presented a copy of the forum’s recommendations to the king and Crown Prince Sultan (to be used as toilet paper or to roll shawarma in.)

In her speech, Laila bint Abdul Kareem Al-Juhaiman, associate professor at King Saud University, said the three-day forum in Sakaka was successful in drafting a futuristic vision of education in the Kingdom. She praised Abdullah’s efforts to promote the Kingdom’s educational standard by opening new universities and colleges across the country.
If the education cannot cater to local enonomic and labour demands, then its useless and in next 99 years the education system can be expected to meet these milestones. Meantime "Vive Le Imam Université"

Saudi's to build Churches at airports

How about Saudi's build a Church and Synanouge at Saudi Airport?? I'm sure this will have some positive economic effect on the Saudi Airlines, the almost dead once a year used Saudi national air carrier...and may get more jobs to fuel Saudization.

Airports truly reflect the sense of multiculturalism with hundreds of people present bearing different nationalities and religion. Considering the fact that all humans are entitled to equal rights, we should be fair and cater to all.

If this group of Islamic idiots succeed, i can see that in future American Airports will cater to university student trips researching different religions.

Muslims seek prayer room at airport

Airport officials said Friday they will consider setting aside a private area for prayer and meditation at the request of imams concerned about the removal of six Muslim clerics from a US Airways flight last week.

Steve Wareham, director of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, said other airports have "meditation rooms" used for prayers or by passengers who simply need quiet time.

A group of Somali clerics met with airport officials Friday and said they would attract less attention if they had a private area for prayer. Devout Muslims pray five times daily, facing the holy city of Mecca.

"When we pray, we don't want a problem. We don't want what happened last week," said Abdulrehman Hersi, an imam at Darul-Quba mosque in Minneapolis, referring to six clerics who were barred from a US Airways flight in Minneapolis after drawing the concern of some passengers.

Airports in Nashville, Tenn.; Columbus, Ohio; and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., all advertise meditation rooms. Fort Lauderdale's is billed as "For travelers seeking a quiet time." All note they are nonsectarian.

The imams at the airport Friday drew a few stares as they laid down their prayer rugs and knelt on the hard rubber floor at the airport.

The clerics requested a meeting after both the US Airways incident and a recent flap over Muslim cabdrivers who didn't want to pick up passengers carrying alcohol.

"We are users of the airport, too, and we don't want to get into a situation where Muslims feel we are being marginalized at the airport," said Omar Jamal, executive director of the Somali Justice Advocacy Center in St. Paul and the meeting's organizer.

Airport officials will accept the group's invitation to visit a mosque, airport spokesman Pat Hogan said.

"I think there's a mutual recognition that it would be helpful for there to be a solid understanding," Hogan said

PS: I know the heading of this post is totally delusional.

Campaign against Imamm University doctrine

seems like something is finally being done to reverse the effects of hardliner Imam University whose graduates are too compelled to hijack passenger airliners and use them as suicide missiles. While they might never achieve their name in science or art..the have definitely made a name in history by conducting the 11 September attack. Many 11 September terrorists were graduates of Imam University.

And I highly appreciate the cover language of this article. How innocently they are conduction this campaign where as the bigger problem they are trying to fight is Saudi youth after reviving their faith at local mosque feel obliged to commit acts of holiness with explosive jockstrap's.

Enough with human rights..now god given rights!!

Seems like Saudi's are now bored with abolishing UN Human rights so they are not stepping over the god given rights too!!..What a perfect Islamic kingdom..A human is born free and two able opposite genders can copulate regardless of their look, ethnicity and origins. But Saudi have decided to super seed god and rule out the rituals or human race and replace them with what they seem to fit.

The Saudi Government belives that Saudi gene pool is "holier than thou" best of all human civilization, therefore it should be polluted by copulating with forigeners. In other words, they feel compelled to stop the spread of genetic stupidity around the world which prevails in Saudi's generation to generation.

Punishing Saudis for Marrying Foreigners Is Absurd
Abeer Mishkhas, abeermishkhas@arabnews.com
Source: Arab News

THERE ARE many ways of dealing with problems. Some require laws while others need only awareness, but in Saudi Arabia it seems the easiest way out is to ban the problem from happening. Needless to say, banning never works but it still remains our favorite solution.
Three years ago there was a campaign to dissuade Saudis from marrying non-Saudis. The campaign aimed at enlightening people about the negative aspects of going outside the Kingdom’s borders and choosing a partner. The study deservedly earned the disdain of many at the time. It failed to solve anything that its proponents saw as problems nor did it reduce the number of Saudis who wanted to marry non-Saudis.
Now lets see why Saudi men don't want to marry Saudi Women. The first idea which strikes mind is that a man never gets to meet a woman in Saudi Arabia. In fact meeting a Saudi women would be more of a poetic fancy than reality. Therefore he is very likely to get carried away with his Indonesian maid or the woman he met during his vacation destination. Considering that he doesn't have to wait for the approval of entire bride's family and pay extravagated marriage expenses and dowry, a forigen bride becomes a more economically favorable option.

This week, I was shocked to see an interview with an official in a local paper. He was speaking about this very issue and the interview began with a denial that the numbers of Saudis marrying foreign women/men had reached “alarming” levels. The official stated that the ministry had put in place measures and guidelines to limit the “negative and harmful aspects of such marriages.”
The interviewer then asked what would be done if someone took the step of actually marrying a non-Saudi without taking official permission. Following are the measures:

* Disciplinary action against the Saudi;
* Not allowing the marriage to be registered as legal in the Kingdom;
* Not granting an entrance visa to the foreigner — either wife or husband — and if the wife or husband are already in the Kingdom, then their residency is terminated.
Now I wonder where is the Ministry of Vice and Virtue gone!!!..They should really come on and scare the minister aganist the punishment in hell he will get for crafting such laws. Ohh but wait..the muttawas are too busy chasing unveiled women on the streets!

Heavy measures indeed! One would think that whoever was punished so harshly was a serious and hardened criminal. In truth, he or she is simply someone who tried to live his or her life within his or her rights as a human being. Now I understand and accept that there are procedures to be followed before visas can be issued and residency can be given to non-Saudis, but these things should not encroach upon people’s God-given rights. In several cases, women choose to marry men from abroad and they are entitled to judge for themselves if they are making the right choice.

In our family-oriented society in which a family’s consent for a marriage is necessary, if the man and woman marry with the family’s blessing and approval, that should be enough for everybody. Taking the matters to a higher level than the family concerned and turning the marriage into an international affair that requires official permission is complicating things unnecessarily and I wonder how such can be Islamically justified.
There is an Islamic solution to this problem. Enforce every man to take four wives..How nice..sorry to say but Islam just seem to worsen the problems..

I know of several cases in which women had to wait for years to get permission, even though they had the consent of their families.

To look for a moment at the matter from another perspective, there are many undecided cases in the courts of Saudi women who have filed for divorce from their Saudi husbands. In many of those cases, the women have been abused and sometimes denied access to their children. For whatever reason, many of those cases, involving only Saudis, have not been resolved and it seems that few of those who should are actually trying to find legal ways and solutions.
But it is between the Saudi's so its ok. Incase you have missed it earlier..the Saudi's are holier tha thou and being decendents of the holy prophet..they are all laws spared..pardoned at every deed...

Some Saudi men have also had bad experiences when they married women from outside the country; for sure, marrying a Saudi is not always guaranteed to work wonders or to result in blissful happiness. At the same time, there are cases in which “mixed marriages” (between a Saudi and a non-Saudi) have outlasted many Saudi-only marriages. It seems that this brings us yet again to an idea that has been sadly prevalent in the Kingdom for some time — that we Saudis are special and different. We are not but we like to deceive ourselves.
Isn't the entire Saudi culture is based on deception??? and lets not forget the religion of peace..

I remember a friend who was trying to get permission to marry a non-Saudi. She waited for two years before discovering that the documents were locked in some official’s drawer simply because he thought she should not marry outside her tribe and country. Only by pulling some strings was she finally able to get her papers processed and marry the man of her choice.
Her case has always made me wonder: Why do people need to postpone their lives and decisions for the sake of a man-made law that should not even exist?
If prophet could control destiny of hundred of people and the people of Hejaz agreed with him without an objection...then you shouldn't really complain about the ministry official. He is doing his duty as allocated to him by his government and religion. That is moral and societal guarding.

Sorry you are not getting any of your Human or God Given rights in this country until that Holy book is thrown out of constitution..

Luck or curse!!!

Four Saudi Teachers Marry Their Driver
Source: Arab News

BAHA, 29 November 2005 — Four Saudi women teaching in a remote village school have married their driver so they can live closer to work, Al-Watan newspaper said yesterday. The women from Al-Baha were impressed with the man’s “good morals” and decided to marry him and live together in the village where they teach — avoiding a tiring daily commute. They were married in a short ceremony, and have agreed to pay the driver a share of their monthly salaries.
=================================================================
1. He gets four young women..lets wish they are not ugly!!
2. He gets a share out of their salaries. Free money!!

Now the obvious reality, in this mentally retarded genetically molested nation..four women couldn't manage to live by themselves and were forced to marry a man they had no intention of every loving..leave alone blowing his dirty weiner all night long..

More on women and religion

‘Rigid Interpretation of Religion Hampers Women’s Progress’
Javid Hassan,
Source: Arab News

RIYADH, 30 November 2006 — Rigid religious interpretations by a segment of Saudi society and the lack of implementation of policy regarding the rights of women were identified as main hurdles to the progress of women in the Kingdom, who make up only 6.1 percent of the national work force.
Rigid interpretations or government sponsored wahabi religion funded well with oil money!!..Common sense dictates that invisible influences such as religion and culture do not hold back humans from their rights unless there are equally harsh laws to enforce such religion or culture. Religion or culture cannot be blamed when the law itself does not provide equal rights..instead itself is based on such culture or religion. This way, the religion and culture become the moral constitution of the country.
By the way why do we need "identification" here??? its a well known fact and there is no denying that from a person who has a common sense less than the size of grain. The element of surprise author is trying to create by starting off in an explosive tone is just confirming he is a bedouin from Riyadh..

This message rang out loud and clear at the concluding session of the United Nations Development Program’s seminar titled, the “Role of the Media in Human Development.” The feelings of anguish and despair among Saudi women were expressed forcefully through two prize-winning paintings that were on display at the venue of the seminar.

One of the paintings by Nour Attar Dina Abu Dawood, a 9th grade student of Dar Al-Fikr School in Jeddah, shows a series of closed doors. The caption to the painting reads: “We can do it all! Just start by opening the doors.” Another painting by Hgada Al-Afesaan shows a split map of Saudi Arabia reflecting a society torn across by the gender gap.

Mostafa Benlamlih, UN Resident Coordinator, told Arab News that 80 girls (in the 12-18 age group) from nine Saudi and international schools from all over the Kingdom participated in the competition on the Eight UN Millennium Development Goals. The prize-winning exhibits in each category would be used for bringing out posters to highlight the millennium goals in Saudi Arabia.

The suggestions that emerged from the two-day debate would now be submitted to the UN, which will later issue its recommendations that will be placed on its website.

The theme of the discussion was the empowerment of women for the advancement of society. Benlamlih described it as a lively discussion on the issues facing Saudi women. The thrust of the debate was toward equal opportunities for women. Sparks also flew in all directions on the issue of polygamy, with one side in favor of polygamy and the other against it.

The example of Tunisia, where polygamy has been banned, seemed to inspire those ranged against it. Delegates from the men’s side hit back at the advocates of a ban on polygamy by alleging that some of them were divorcees. Overall, it was a healthy debate that produced both heat and light.
Why on earth the comparison is being done with Tunisia..there is an entire continent of Asia, Europe and Americas to compare.

“All we can say is that no one can lay claim to the whole truth. It depends on how you look at it. I hope that through this discussion we had a better understanding of the issues relating to the empowerment of women as well as alternative solutions,” said Benlamlih.
Discussion regarding women rights do no include any women speakers by themselves. Which direction this leads to is clear to all

Speaking to Arab News, Samar Fatany, a Jeddah-based radio journalist and one of the participants in the seminar, said she hoped that the event would “mark a constructive change toward development by confronting the rigid interpretation of Islam and discrimination against women. I hope the debate will help in changing the perception of the image that has harmed Islam and also the image of Saudi Arabia as the leader of the Muslim world.”
Constructive change???? spare me but than is not happening until Saudi Arabia adopts a human rights complaint constitution and abandon 6th century Quran as their constitution. Islam and women rights do not sound compatible in any mix unless you are delusional.

In this context, she stressed the role of the media in highlighting the denial of job opportunities to women wherever they exist. “It should expose any injustice against women or the inefficiencies of the government.” She said the debate also focused on the need for setting up training programs for journalists in the interest of upgrading the professional caliber of the Arab media.
Well, employ a women and go to jail is the law of this country. Your government has explicitly imposed laws to prohibit employing women except in pre-approved professions. And that cuts down the women probability to 1:100000..Unless the ban is lifted..women are not getting any successful and competitive employment anywhere.

Calling for equal opportunities, Adlah Al-Essa, a Saudi woman journalist, said women should not be discriminated against when Islam itself gives them equal rights. “I drive in other countries, but here I can’t. Why should I use a chauffeur-driven car in which I am seated along with someone who is not my relative? What happens if there is an emergency at home and the driver is not available?” she asked.
Islam and equal rights..????? May be Quran talks about equal rights but any nation is as good as it is practiced and in that sense i say it is delusional to think such.
Well if there is an emergency at home and driver is not available.. you fix yourself a straight face and repeat after me.."whatever happens is due to Allah's will"..

The interpretation of the Holy Qur’an, Adlah pointed out, was left to the whims and fancies of some people. “We are not asking for freedom,” he said. “What we are asking for is our legitimate right given by Islam.”
Common sense is a luxry available to gifted ones in this oil gulf. Why brag and drag after a 6th century transcript when the UN Charter of Human rights 1947 is readily available for adoption?????
Regarding interpretation of Quran, well that has been done a few thousand times by now and everytime it come out more or less the same. In a nutshell, it is not gonna work any better than a lame excuse.

Mosques can be used as sale spot and Humor is forbidden in islam!!

‘Your Mama’ Fight Erupts at School
Arab News

JUBAIL, 27 November 2006 — Most people who went to primary public school in the United States, especially in the inner cities, know about the phenomenon of “Your Mama” jokes. The premise of these jokes is to insult another kid’s mother in a creative manner. These off-color jokes often regress into a competition between two kids trying to be as creative and insulting as possible. (For example, “Your momma is so fat she uses a laptop for a cell phone” might be returned with “Your momma is so dumb she sold her car for gas money.”) Often these schoolyard taunts would predictably degrade into fights. Recently, a similar incident happened in an elementary school in Jubail, the daily Al-Watan reported yesterday. A fight broke out between two kids after one of them mentioned the name of the other kid’s mother. The teacher told the newspaper he was disappointed that the child reacted violently to the mention of his mother’s name. Apparently, it didn’t even take an actual insult to his mother to set this kid off. The name was enough.

Apparently the Saudi's don't have the sense of humor, tolerance or cultural diversity as they west. So why bother using their humor in this society. After all humor is forbidden in Islam. Hide away before the chop-chop crowds runs for your neck...

Money or Divorce? Wife Picks Divorce
MAKKAH, 27 November 2006 — Money may make the world go ‘round, but it’s also plays a key role in making or breaking marriages. The daily Al-Madinah recently reported that a man who lost a fortune in the stock market demanded that his wife give him money she had socked away so he could continue his losing streak on the bourse. He also demanded that she sell off all of her jewelry for more cash. When she refused, he laid down an ultimatum: Give him the money or divorce was imminent. Fine, the woman said: It’s divorce then, and she was gone. This serves as a valuable primer for married men everywhere. When you’re broke because you made dumb decisions and sank money into short-term speculation on the stock market (many consider such stock prospecting as the moral equivalent of gambling), the last thing you need to be doing is laying down blackmail and ultimatums against your wife. Honey, she can always find another broke, dumb guy; there are plenty of those fish in sea.

I dont think that the vision of marriage is based on love in an "islamic society" . Marriges have been traditionally business transactions with high dowries (tax) and civilized slavery.

Man Uses Mosque to Rant About Dealership
RIYADH, 27 November 2006 — So there was this guy who was standing next to a vehicle in front of a car dealership in Riyadh. And he must have been dressed like a man of stature because locals at a nearby mosque were arriving for prayer and mistook him as being affiliated with the mosque. They asked him to lead the prayer. The man obliged the people and went in to lead the prayer. Afterward, the man began preaching to the people in the mosque that they should not buy a car from the dealership next door. The people in the mosque were a bit perplexed by this impromptu and strange sermon. According to a report in yesterday’s Al-Madinah daily, a worker in the mosque finally told the people the man was mentally ill and had a bone to pick with the car dealership next door because they have repeatedly refused to sell him a car on a payment plan. The prayer, however, still counts.

No much on that one..just make sure you took the fatwa from local sheikh permitting use of God's house as a sale spot.
